I came across an interesting question recently:
What fictional character is amazing in their book/show/movie, but would be insufferable if you had to deal with them in mundane everyday situations?
I immediately thought of Jack Sparrow.
I love watching him in Pirates of the Caribbean (the first movie, anyway. Let’s not open the can of worms of the rest of the movies…), but if I had to work with the guy? I’d wanna smack him in his big red bandana.
How about you? Who do you love in books or shows or movies who would be intolerable in real life?
I agree if I had to deal with Capt. Jack I’d have to slap the crap out of him…lol
I’d probably have to tell. Garion to grow a pair while he was growing up, that whining gets on my nerves…lol
Probably Sir Percival Blakeney from “The Scarlet Pimpernel.” Also, Sherlock Holmes would probably be rather hard to deal with for longer than a brief encounter. It somewhat pains me to admit these, because they are some of my very favorite characters ever created, and I feel like I know them about as well as anybody but the original authors could because they were my high school/middle school obsessions.
